MEET INFORMATION

    • Confirm your entry to the RunSport Victoria Track Classic Elite Sections with Meet Director, Georgia Ginther.

    • Athletes, if you are willing and able to pace a race, please contact Hilary Stellingwerff: hstellin@uvic.ca.

    • Entry Deadline :

      • $20.00 per athlete. Note: Trackie will add an additional insurance surcharge for non-Athletics Canada members for insurance purposes.

      • Please submit registrations no later than 11:59pm PST on Monday, June 8th. A $40 registration fee will be applicable for all entries on June 9th.

      • We will have a limited number of heats available so registrations will also close if the meet becomes fully registered. REGISTER HERE!

    • Final start lists will be posted on the meet website on June 10th, 2026.

    • Performance lists are posted HERE.

    • The meet will run between 4pm-8pm. A tentative schedule is available here.

    • A final schedule will be confirmed by 11:59pm PST on June 10th, 2026.

    • Bib numbers & hip stickers can be picked up on race day (Friday, June 12th) between 3pm-7pm at Athlete Registration table.

    • 90min prior to start time: Check-in opens at designated location.

    • 60min prior to event start: Throwers must report to Bunker for implement weight-ins.

    • 30min prior to start time: Check-in with BC Officials at the Call Room.

    • ATHLETES: Field 4 (upper soccer field) is open for warm up.

    • As a sanctioned event, all Athletics Canada and World Athletics regulations will apply vis a vis equipment, competition rules, and anti-doping. Officials reserve the right to spot check equipment compliance with regulations.

      • Maximum Spike Length is 7mm (excepting Long Jump and Javelin where it is 9mm).

      • Blocks will be provided by the meet.

      • The infield is out of bounds for spectators. Athletes and Coaches only.

      • Race numbers will be worn on the front for all track events.

      • As a World Athletics sanctioned event, limitations on stack height apply to track spikes.

    • Officials are required to carry out random spot checks and failure to comply may result in retroactive disqualification.

    • Throwing implements will be measured, in the bunker, 1 hours before the event.

    • $100 (CAD) to every winner of the High Performance Events, $300 (CAD) for every winner of Premium Events (WA points 1,000+).

    • Results will be available online, provided by Swann Timing – link to follow closer to meet.

    • Track Classic Records are available HERE.

    • We invite athletes to visit the Youth Festival area after their event to sign autographs if they are willing to do so. There is no obligation, but young athletes will have posters available, and sharpies will be provided. Thank you!
