Nikki Johma

Nikki Jomha joined the RunSport board in August 2016. She is a middle-of-the-pack age-group triathlete that trains with a local club to swim, bike & run at every opportunity. Training acts as the therapeutic balance to her high-stress job as a 911 Emergency Centre Supervisor. Working 12-hour days, being a mom of 3 and grandmother of 2, only serves to create a calm, rational multi-tasker, which is easily translatable to a board member driven to success.

For Nikki, joining the board that produced the TC10K seemed only fitting as it was this very race that catapulted her from couch to Ironman finisher in 4 years. The vision behind the society in promoting running/walking to every person fits perfectly with her values and motivates her to ensure the society produces the most inclusive and inspired events possible.
